CABOT LABORATORIES NAMES LINDA MAIOCCO VP, MARKETING

 NEW YORK, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Cabot Laboratories Inc. has named Linda M. Maiocco vice president of sales and marketing.
 In her new position, Maiocco will develop and execute the overall strategic marketing program for Cabot Laboratories and its line of skin care products, which includes Cabot(R) Vitamin E moisturizers, Clear Perfection(TM) Corrective Cosmetics and Seban(TM) Solution Facial Oil Inhibitors. Maiocco will report to Cabot Vice Chairman Pamela Fields.
 "Linda's appointment represents a major step forward in the level of knowledge and sophistication that Cabot can bring to bear on the long- term marketing of its skin care products," said Fields. "Her expertise and enthusiasm make Linda a most welcome addition to the Cabot team."
 Prior to joining Cabot Laboratories, Maiocco was vice president of marketing for Almay Corp., a division of Revlon. She joined Almay as a marketing manager in 1988. She worked her way up through various categories before being named vice president of marketing for Almay's treatment category in 1992.
 Earlier in her career, Maiocco worked as a business analyst for the New England Consulting Group of Westport, Conn.
 A native of Connecticut, Maiocco holds both a master's and bachelor's degree from the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, Conn.
