CABLEVISION INDUSTRIES CORPORATION TO REDEEM 11-1/4 percent SENIOR SUBORDINATED DEBENTURES

 LIBERTY, N.Y., March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Cablevision Industries Corporation ("CVI") has announced that it will redeem on April 2, 1993, all of CVI's outstanding 11-1/4 percent Senior Subordinated Debentures Due 2002 at 102 percent of the principal amount thereof, plus accrued and unpaid interest thereon.
 CVI is the ninth largest independent cable television operator in the United States, serving approximately 1.2 million subscribers in 18 states.
