CABLEVISION INDUSTRIES CORPORATION PRICES $300 MILLION SENIOR NOTES
 LIBERTY, N.Y., Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Cablevision Industries Corporation (CVI) announced today that it priced $300 million of senior notes due 2002. The issue was increased in size from $150 million. The notes carry a 10-3/4 percent coupon and were priced at 100 percent. The notes were rated Ba3 by Moody's and single-B plus by Standard & Poor's. Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated lead-managed the issue with the First Boston Corporation and Lazard Freres & Co. acting as co-managers.
 Proceeds from the sale of the company's notes will be used for the redemption at par of all of the company's outstanding 15-1/4 percent senior subordinated discount notes, for the redemption at 105 percent of their principal amount of all of the company's outstanding 14-1/2 percent subordinated debentures, and for working capital.
 CVI is the ninth largest independent cable television company in the United States, serving approximately 1.1 million subscribers in 18 states.
