C-LISTERS TAKE A TUMBLE.
Byline: KEVIN O'SULLIVAN
TWO massive milestones in television history in two days. Amazeballs.
After ITV learned the hard way that it's not easy to cash in on the wonder of big sporting championships - with Splash! (RIP) - BBC1 boldly launched last night's Tumble. Splash! without the water.
No doubt the Beeb's too-lateto-the-party bozos believe we've all got Commonwealth Games fever. Just because they have. And that we've all been desperate to find out what a bunch of serious C-listers (TOWIE Lucy, H from Steps, Dynasty relic Emma Samms etc) will be like at gymnastics.
Anyone? Nah, me neither.
But a rare chance to catch extremely Welsh host Alex Jones on the Beeb.
We don't see nearly enough of her.
Meanwhile, over on Channel 4, poor old Alan Carr surprised everyone by agreeing to turn up for episode two of The Singer Takes It All.
The opening salvo was an un-interactive technological disaster. But at least affable Al's got a catchphrase now: "There's a problem with our app!"
Gym-tastic: TOWIE Lucy
