C&W teams with Larry Latham to provide auction marketing.

Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., the commercial real estate services firm, and Larry Latham Auctioneers, one of the nation's largest austioneer firms, announced they have formed a joint initiative to sell commercial real estate at auction.

Together, the firms will provide clients with all the services needed to successfully auction real estate. Cushman & Wakefield thoroughly analyzes properties and provides the research necessary to effectively market the properties in addition to establishing market values and targeting prospective buyers. The firm also uses its network of overseas contacts, including its London-based partner, Healey & Baker, which has 24 offices throughout Europe, to reach foreign investors.

Larry Latham Auctioneers uses its expertise to conduct all aspects of the auction, plus facilitate closings. The company also develops the marketing programs necessary to promote acutions and maximize sales.

The two firms are scheduling a series of auctions in different regions across the United States. The first auction will offer retail and office/industrial properties, the second will offer hotels, followed by multi-family complexes.
