C&D Aerospace sold to Zodiac.

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

French aeronautic equipment and systems supplier Zodiac SA has agreed to acquire C&D Aerospace Group, a US maker of aircraft cabin interior equipment such as seats and storage bins.

Zodiac and C&D Aerospace have cooperated on numerous aircraft programmes and have complementary activities, Zodiac said, adding that C&D will become part of Zodiac's Airline Equipment segment, which makes seats and cabin equipment.

The deal is worth about USD600m, reported Reuters.
