Byte Wins Top Creative Honors; Strategic Digital Marketing Agency Takes Home 2005 Summit Creative Awards(R).

SOUTH NORWALK, Conn. -- Byte Interactive, the South Norwalk, CT-based strategic digital marketing agency, received both silver and bronze awards in the 2005 Summit Creative Awards(R), a competition for outstanding creative work. The company received both awards in the Consumer Web Site - Product category.

Byte Interactive snagged the silver prize for its "Spring Shot Game" created for Nestle Waters North America - and took the bronze for its work with the Vanity Fair Corporation's Lily of France consumer site.

"It is extremely rewarding to be recognized for our creativity, strategic marketing approach and execution in such a competitive field," said Michael LeBeau, CEO of Byte Interactive. "With both campaigns, we remained committed to our strategy of appealing to and communicating directly with the individual. By providing the consumer with subtle messages, we are able to reinforce the positive brand experience associated with both Nestle Waters and Lily of France."

About the campaigns

The Silver: Byte Interactive created a promotional campaign, the Miami Dolphins Ultimate Tailgater Contest, for Nestle Waters that featured an online "Spring Shot Game." Using the success of other online games as its base, Byte Interactive incorporated brand elements into the addictive game, encouraging visitors to register in the contest while increasing brand awareness. Once registered, users would be entered into an Instant Win promotion each time they played the game.

The Bronze: Byte Interactive reintroduced Lily of France to consumers under its new "You are Sexy" campaign. Byte Interactive completely redesigned the existing website using a combination of edgy and sophisticated layouts to communicate the brand to women. The sense of movement from various catalog pages, the store locator and "wish list" all allow the viewer to easily navigate the XML-fed Flash website. Seamlessly integrating these new technologies also increases the longevity of the website as Lily of France's product line continues to evolve.

"The judges were very impressed with Byte Interactive's approaches to the projects," said Jocelyn Luciano, Executive Director of the Summit Creative Awards. "The sites were innovative and persuasive in a medium where good work can mean the difference between ineffective and effective marketing communications.
