Bypass would aid Powerhouse.

NOW is an ideal time to get the East Middlesbrough bypass (or Middlesbrough Orbital Express Way as it should be deemed) constructed to aid the Northern Powerhouse. With the skilled workforce from the steel industry and possible raw material in the form of slag from the coke works and blast furnace along with the cement and concrete companies in the region, work could and should start immediately.

Middlesbrough Council should build the road from Longlands roundabout to Ladgate Lane with spurs to Crossfell Road and James Cook hospital. Redcar and Cleveland Council will claim that they want to do the best for the unemployed steel industry workers in their constituency but I predict that the council will do nothing towards building the road and will merely shed crocodile tears for these desperate people, despite their protestations to the contrary claiming a whole host of reasons why it cannot be done.

Dr ANDY WARD, Marton, Middlesbrough WHAT is the difference between the Yeti and the Northern Powerhouse? There is more conclusive evidence the Yeti does exist.
