Bylaws Amendment proposal for 2004.

The following ADAA Bylaws Amendment has been recommended for adoption by the Bylaws Subcommittee:

Amend Article IV Membership Section 2.E. Life 2. Privileges of Life Membership C.

Currently reads: Retired Life Members shall receive a retired life membership card, shall pay no dues but shall maintain all the privileges and benefits of active membership with the exception of official ADAA publications, which they would be able to subscribe to at a reduced Retired Life Member rate.

Amend to read: Retired life members shall receive a retired life membership card, shall pay no dues, shall maintain all the privileges of active membership, and receive the ADAA Journal at no additional charge.

Rationale: The 2003 ADAA House of Delegates directed the Council to prepare a proposed bylaws amendment that would provide for the ADAA Journal at no cost to retired life members.
