Fabulous innovations were on display at two marvelous showhouses this year. The ASID showhouse (benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota-Manatee, Ringling School of Art and Design and USF Sarasota-Manatee) was the result of nearly 30 interior designers who descended upon Cindy and Rob Graham's Mediterranean villa-style home. It melds indoor and outdoor spaces with the boldest international design trends. And then there was the Symphony Designer Showcase at Taylor Woodrow's Meridian at The Oaks Preserve, benefiting symphony youth programs. Coordinated by Janeace Slifka and Robert Kevin Cassidy, each designer contributed a specific lifestyle between "Urban Retreat" and "Sophisticated Haven." Here are some of the surprising results.
