GELATIN AND SLIME
Wiggle your way over to Maude Kerns Art Center, 1910 E. 15th Ave., this weekend for "i-Jell-O," Maude's 25th annual Jell-O Art Show and Tacky Food Buffet, which runs one night only, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. The exhibit features art made from - you guessed it - Jell-O. The event will feature benedictions by SLUG Queen Sady Slimy Stitches and the appearance of a Jell-O Queen, plus a 7 p.m. performance by the Radar Angels. Jell-O artists are invited to bring their creations to the center between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday; there is a $3 display fee. All Jell-O creations must be taken home immediately after the show. The cost to attend the event is $3 per person or $5 for the whole family. "i-Jell-O" is a fundraiser for the art center.
