Boat legally

If you want to operate a boat, and you're older than 12, you need a Boater Education Card in Oregon. To get one, attend the Oregon State Marine Board's class Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Gateway Mall. The eight-hour class costs $25. To register, contact the instructor, George Darrough, at 541-485-1776.
