brush with fame

THE STAR: George Hamilton

THE PERSON: Nadine Peterson, Eugene

THE BRUSH: I was at a Chicago club (in 1967) with a friend who walked up to a man surrounded by women - suddenly, George Hamilton was asking me to dance! We danced and talked for over an hour, and he asked if I would like to come up to his suite for a nightcap. I said no, and that I'd better go home. He was gracious and thanked me for a fun evening. As the elevator doors closed, he flashed his famous smile inside that gorgeous tanned face.
