Longtime Eugene entertainer and karaoke host Dan Henson died Sunday at age 58. Friends and fans can visit www .caringbridge.org /visit/danhenson to get updates on a public memorial and how to help Henson's family with medical bills incurred during Henson's hospitalization for acute promyelocytic leukemia. The Web site already has had almost 6,000 visitors since the family set it up in late November. Henson, the site says, never let a debt go unpaid. Henson's adult children will keep his entertainment business going.

A WORLD OF 'HURT'

The Iraq war drama "The Hurt Locker" is shaping up to be this year's critics' darling. After being named best film Sunday by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, it was selected Monday as the best of 2009 by the New York Film Critics Circle. It also was named one of the 10 best films of the year by the American Film Institute.

StubHub has released its concert ticket report for 2009. The top 10 tours were from U2, Bruce Springsteen, Phish, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Dave Matthews Band, Elton John, Jonas Brothers, Kenny Chesney and Metallica.
