A NOVEL DONATION
A scarce inscribed first-edition copy of "The Natural," considered one of the greatest sports novels ever written, has been donated to the Oregon State University Library in Corvallis. Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Bernard Malamud wrote the book while he was on the OSU faculty in the 1950s. Retired Corvallis bookstore owner Howard Mills donated the book.
