Buy your home and sip a latte... lettings Estate agent offers cafe-style browsing.

Byline: Cathy Owen

CHOOSING your new home in a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere - sounds like a good idea?

Well, a new business that has opened in Penarth is describing itself as a cafe-style estates and lettings agency and aims to do just that.

Branch manager, Donna Savage, who has 15 years' experience in the Welsh housing market, said: "We aim to do things a little bit differently.

"We wanted to have a much more relaxed attitude to renting and buying or selling a house. It has already been proved one of the most stressful things you can do so we wanted to try to make it as easy as possible for people."

All the properties are on the internet, so a member of staff is there to give people a more personal approach.

"We give people a unique experience from the moment they step through the door," explains Donna.

And Donna said that despite concern in the stock markets, the rental market has remained buoyant.

"People are a little nervous but we have seen it picking up and our approach is very much one of trying to put their minds at ease. We have seen a decent start since opening at the beginning of January," she said.
