Career session set for construction

The Workforce Network is presenting a session on careers in the construction industry on June 19.

The session will focus on electrical, plumbing and sheet-metal work and equipment operation. This event aims to help people with career choices and is not a hiring venue.

The session runs from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Workforce Network, 2510 Oakmont Way, Room 2. The Workforce Network is a government-sponsored program.

Attending will be representatives from Central Electrical JATC and C&S Electric Co.; Local 16 Sheet Metal Union; FM Sheet Metal Plumbers & Fitters Local 290; and Twin Rivers Plumbing Operators Training.
