Howard Kukla has joined VersaLogic Corp. in Eugene as technical services manager. He will be responsible for designing and managing procedures related to manufacturing production. Kukla previously served as director of manufacturing engineering at Kyocera Wireless.

David Kennedy has joined Selco Credit Union in Eugene as vice president of business development and as president/chief operations officer of Selco Group Inc. Previously with Riverside County Credit Union since 1990, he served as branch manager, assistant vice president of business development; and president/chief operations officer of RCUSO Inc.

Ron Jack has joined Pacific Benefit Consultants in Eugene as a specialist in employee benefit plans. He has 16 years of experience as an insurance agent.


Barbara Wirtz of Wirtz Consulting has been recognized by the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce with the Shining Star award for her contribution as a speech coach in strengthening the speaking skills of chamber leaders.

Martin Gascoyne of Country Gardener in Cottage Grove has been elected to serve as president-elect on the Oregon Landscape Contractors Association board of directors for 2003. Mark Peeters of Peeters & Peeters Landscape Design/Build in Eugene will serve as Lane County chapter director. Also, Peeters & Peeters Landscape has been recognized by the Oregon Landscape Contractors Association with a regional grand award in the project category of design/build residential: less than $15,000.

Fast Lane Coffee, based in Eugene, has opened a drive-through espresso location at 3904 SE Commercial St., Salem. It is Fast Lane's sixth drive-through in Oregon.


LH Truck Body in Eugene has been sold to Mark Carruba by Richard Moulds. The sale was negotiated by John Teising of Oregon Business Properties.
