Jason Brown has joined InfoGroup Northwest of Eugene as senior security engineer. He was formerly with Symantec of Eugene. Also, Jeff Gordon joins InfoGroup as a security systems engineer. He previously worked for VoiceStream of Eugene.

CAWOOD, a Eugene-based public relations and advertising firm, has added two senior-level professionals. Alex Pawlowski, formerly a vice president and chief marketing officer at Siuslaw Valley Bank, has joined CAWOOD as vice president. Lyn Ryse, formerly a senior art director at Ad Group, has joined CAWOOD as art director.

Michele Schimmer has been promoted to artistic director of Rose Children's Theater. Previously she was assistant director.

KUDOS

Eugene radio station New Country 93's Bill Barrett, Tim Fox and Tracey Berry have been named Small Market Broadcast Personalities of the Year for 2002 by the Country Music Association. The award is the nation's highest radio honor in the country music category.

The guide, "Expecting the Unexpected," covers everything from explosions and earthquakes to chemical spills and terrorism.
