Bus picture sparks memory; Letters letters@coventrytelegraph.net.

IN THE Telegraph (Your Space memories, September 21) there was a picture of the No.13 bus (which crashed into a house in Spon End in 1961). It brought a memory back to me as I was a bus driver, 1949-52 time, and used to do all these services (Nos.13, 3, 10, 20).

Itwas a Friday, about 11am.

The No.13 did a spin and put a bollard down, damaging the fuel tank and putting all the fuel on the road.

Does anyone remember that time? I have lived up here since 1984. How did I come by this paper? My young sister, Mrs J Byards, is a City supporter who never misses a match.

Good old Berkswell boy, Frank Taylor, Sunningdale, Abergele, Conwy.
