Burning Thread to scorch home for Elsworth; TIPS BOX.

Newmarket David Milnes Burning Thread (2.40 Kempton, nap) Has a 6lb pull at the weights with Pensax Lad, who he beat over course and distance 13 days ago. David Elsworth's sprinter is well drawn and can follow up.

Lambourn James Burn Miss Pimpernel (5.10 Kempton, nap) Got off the mark at Chelmsford in October and has been given time since. That will have done her confidence good and she's expected to build on that.

North Colin Russell Tiger's Home (1.00 Southwell, nap) Has taken well to the Fibresand with two wins and a close second. Up in the weights but latest second to a track specialist off this mark was another decent effort and is fancied to go one better.

West Country Tim Mitchell Warriors Tale (1.15 Catterick, nap) Unlucky to go down by a head on chasing/ stable debut at Newbury. The Paul Nicholls-trained six-year-old shaped with plenty of promise and, with that run under his belt, is fancied to go one better.

Racing Post Ratings Steve Mason Danceintothelight (12.15 Catterick, nap) Shaped well on recent debut for new yard and this dual course winner is very well handicapped on the best of his form.

Topspeed Dave Edwards Red Dragon (2.10 Kempton) Third over course and distance on first run for just over a year recently. With improvement anticipated, he could start to make up for time lost.

Longshot Ed Quigley Elusivity (2.30 Southwell) Unexposed on Fibresand and, despite some laboured efforts lately, looks to be on an attractive mark as a consequence. ??See selection boxes on today's cards for others to follow from the training centres
