M2 PHARMA-October 18, 2012-Burlington Medical Supplies and ODIN launch concept for managing data for X-ray aprons and other radiation protection garments(C)2012 M2 COMMUNICATIONS
It was reported yesterday that Burlington Medical Supplies, a manufacturer of customised x-ray protection aprons, eyewear and supplies, and a distributor of these products throughout the United States, has launched a new concept for managing data for X-ray aprons and other radiation protection garments, in collaboration with ODIN, a provider of RFID-enabled healthcare solutions.
The Burlington Apron Inventory Management System is offered through BurmedID, a division of Burlington Medical Supplies.
The system allows the customers to read the tag using an RFID-enabled tablet and record inspection data for each garment, giving the user a complete history of the equipment's safety, and allowing the user to manage their inventory by maintaining relevant data, and storing the data safely to the BAIMS web server.
