Byline: By Tony Deeley

A WEST Bromwich man who was convicted of burglary has been jailed for breaching his community service requirements.

Police had put out an appeal to trace Shaun Doody, 35, of Greets Green, West Bromwich, who was wanted on a crown court bench warrant.

The warrant was issued by Wolverhampton Crown Court on April 3 after he failed to comply with a drug rehabilitation order - his sentence for a burglary offence.

Following the appeal Doody, yesterday, turned up at Wolverhampton Crown Court and his case was dealt with.

A police spokesman said today: "Shaun Doody handed himself in to the court and was sentenced to four months imprisonment."
