Bureau of Curriculum's graft case, one more accused held.

HYDERABAD -- In the alleged case of graft in Bureau of Curriculum, a team of National Accountability Bureau has arrested one more suspect after a raid here on Saturday.

The NAB's spokesman Deputy Director Rizwan Soomro informed that Mehboob Ali Halepoto had been arrested in connection with the case in which 4 persons were arrested from Hyderabad on Friday.

'He was arrested as a result of leads gathered yesterday in interrogation of the 4 accused arrested in scam of bogus claims of Bureau of Curriculum,' Soomro told.

According to him, Halepoto was an Accountant in Bureau of Curriculum Sindh and he was allegedly also involved in issuing cheques worth Rs 400 million.

After his arrest the NAB team produced the suspect before the Accountability Court which granted his 14-day physical read for interrogation to the NAB's investigation team.
