Bungle the cat makes himself right at home; Family and other creatures.

NO wonder Bungle the ginger cat looks content. He's just landed on his feet with a great home at Blackmoorfoot with new owners Vicky and Mark Broadley.

Vicky, who works at local vets Donaldson & Partners, decided to give Bungle a home after he was brought in by the RSPCA.

Unfortunately he is just one of many cats looking for new homes at the moment which have been left at the Maple Street surgery.

If you can help rehome a cat or kitten, please contact the surgery on 01484 421512.

Bungle is thought to be about two years old and is now sharing his life with a menagerie of animals at Mark and Vicky's home.

This includes a horse, three ponies, as well as numerous rabbits, sheep and guinea pigs.

"He loves it,'' says Vicky, "he's really settled it well. Luckily my husband Mark is as understanding about animals as I am so he didn't mind taking in another cat.'' Numerous cats and kittens are at Donaldson's of all ages, just waiting for new homes. How long have you had your pet? About three weeks. What did you call your pet and was there a particular reason for the choice of name? She already had her name Bungle.

What's the best thing about your pet? She has fitted in really well with all the other animals.

Has your pet got any naughty traits? She's just very playful and loves children.

What's his or her favourite treat? She just loves food and treats everything like her last meal.
