THE RGS NEWCASTLE UNDER-13 GIRLS' hockey team are aiming to reach a high standard in the next round of the Independent Schools Hockey Cup. They started back in September with a tough away match against Sedbergh, which the girls won with an outstanding result, winning 6-1. Coach, Miss Chapman, says; "I am excited to see how the girls work with our new formation and hope they can succeed in the competition" The team now trains four times a week in order to prepare for their next match, away at the Leeds Grammar School on the 27th November. One of the girls says; "I think we have a great chance in this competition and I can't wait to play!" By Jessica Cottee, Olivia Kilburn, and Eloise Lamb
