Building collapses in Hyderabad, three killed.

Hyderabad, Feb 25 ( ANI ): Three persons were confirmed dead and one critically injured when a three-storey building collapsed here on Saturday.

The eighty-year-old Punjab National Hotel building located in the Secundrabad area of Hyderabad was presently being renovated by the new owner of the building when it suddenly caved in.

Eyewitnesses told that the building collapsed and fell on street vendors who had put up their shops in front of it.

It is reported that the death toll is expected to rise as it is feared that the labourers who were carrying out the renovation work are still buried under the debris.

Sources revealed that the building was in a dilapidated condition for quite some time.olice and fire department have arrived at the spot and are carrying out the rescue work. ( ANI )
