Builder author Bobs in for class.

THE designer of the worldwide hit children's television show Bob the Builder has visited a Huddersfield school to promote his latest book - Shadow of the Hawk.

The author, animator and illustrator, Curtis Jobling, visited Scissett Middle School and gave a talk to 120 Year 7 pupils which was followed by a question and answer and book signing session.

Mr Jobling, who is on a national tour, has two other novels, Rise of the Wolf and Rage of Lions.

Linda Dyson, school librarian at Scissett Middle School, said: "Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the event as they brushed shoulders with the Puffin boy's series writer."

Mr Jobling's Wereworld series is set in the imagined and highly inventive world of lycanthropes.
