OAKLAND, Calif., July 9 /PRNewswire/ --

With energy concerns top of mind in the state today, one local builder, Premier Builders, Inc., Pleasanton, Calif., is doing all he can to ensure his homes are as energy-efficient as they can be. Besides building to specific energy specs, using state-of-the- art energy saving products, having his finished homes energy and comfort performance-tested, he's so concerned about promoting energy efficiency he's inviting local builders, contractors and prospective home buyers to an open house to learn more about energy efficiency.

The open house, which will be held on Tuesday, July 10 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., at the Ruby Hills development at 1223 Barolo Court in Pleasanton, will involve a demonstration of a new energy-saving system installed "live" in one of his homes, as well as a tour of today's energy-efficient features.

"In this day and age, you simply cannot do enough to ensure the energy efficiency of your home," says Bob Clifford, president of Premier Builders, Inc. "It gives you real peace of mind."
