Dubai: Tournaments for budding cricketers at the Under-10 and Under-11 levels have produced some exhilarating matches of late.

In the third edition of the Al Sadiq ASIES Inter-School Under-10 cricket tournament, defending champions Delhi Private School, Dubai and hosts Al Sadiq Islamic English School (ASIES) scored impressive victories to secure their place in the final.

In the Under-11 tournament for the Ramada Gulf Cup, GM Cricket Academy's off spinner Ahmad Tariq produced a fine four-wicket spell and Aditya Shetty caught the eye with an innings of 76 for Delhi Private School, Dubai.

The Al Sadiq Under-10 tournament final will be held on Wednesday, from 9.30am, at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

In the semi-finals played at the Al Sadiq school ground, DPS beat Ambassador School, Dubai by 46 runs while Al Sadiq got the better of Our Own Indian School, Dubai by seven wickets.
