Bud is supporting NASTAR ski series

Anheuser-Busch, Inc., and Budweiser have joined forces with NASTAR (NAtional STAndard Race), the largest recreational ski racing program in the world for the 1991-92 ski season.

This year, the Bud Challenge will involve more than 180 ski areas in 32 states. NASTAR is entering its twenty-third year of recreational ski racing.

The 1991-92 Bud Challenge ski program will offer adult skiers the opportunity to race NASTAR and earn gold, silver, and bronze medals every day the races are held.

At the conclusion of the ski season, 6,000 of these racers will earn a spot in the Bud All-Stars rankings program, which lists the top adult racers nationally in all 50 states. Based on their racing performance throughout the ski season, 10 men and 10 women will be selected from each of six categories and will win awards and prizes.

In addition to the Bud Challenge and the Bud All-Stars programs, Bud will sponsor a NASTAR program designed exclusively for ski clubs across the country. The Bud Club Series is a season-long competition in which approximately 1,500 ski clubs can compete. Clubs compete based on size and are eligible to win awards in several different categories.
