Bud's new bottles debut this quarter.

Anheuser-Busch, Inc., has announced that a new Flagship non-returnable bottle for Budweiser beer will be introduced during the first quarter of 1992, replacing the A & Eagle bottle that was first introduced in 1979.

In a massive changeover, 23 lines at all 12 A-B breweries will be converted by the end of March. The new Flagship bottle "represents the glass industry's latest |press & blow' technology," a brewery spokesperson reported.

"The image of the Flagship bottle is a welcomed enhancement to the Budweiser packaging line," said August Busch IV, Bud brand marketing director.
