Brush without breakage.

Goody has added Brushes to its Ouchless line. The Ouchless Brushes offer a gentle solution that reduces hair breakage for women with all hair types.

Ouchless Brushes gently detangle to reduce hair breakage by 55 percent compared to the leading brush, thanks to exclusive features and an innovative product design, say company officials.

Through extensive research, Goody identified hair breakage while brushing hair as a primary concern for women. Most brushes have bristles that collapse tightly on hair during brushing, resulting in tangling, pulling, and ultimately, breaking the hair. Broken hair makes hair feel unhealthy and makes it more difficult to get a beautiful, smooth style.

"We recognized a need in the market for a brush that focuses on not just detangling, but maintaining healthy hair," says Monica Tyler, director of brand marketing for Goody, based in Atlanta. "We set an industry standard for gentle hair elastics with the original launch of our Goody Ouchless elastics, and we are proud to continue that heritage with our new Ouchless Brushes."

The brush's FlexGlide bristles are strong enough to work through knotted hair but gentle enough to detangle without breaking strands. Its flexible top plate keeps bristles aligned while detangling hair, preventing snags and pulls that break and damage hair. A hidden cushion pad sits under the top plate and is ultra-flexible, allowing the brush to contour to a user's head for maximum comfort, and its ball-tipped bristles are designed to be extra-gentle on a scalp. The brushes also have ergonomic handles, shaped to feel good in a user's hand.

Goody Ouchless Brushes come in a magenta and gray color combination.
