Brown Joins Hope-Beckham, Inc.
Brown, who has been an international coffee and tea marketing specialist for over 15 years, has been partnering with Hope-Beckham on the U.S. launch of a Brazilian tea company, and will continue to provide her expertise in the food and beverage industry. In addition, she is responsible for several food and internet accounts and will continue to help build business for the firm.
"Having worked with Brown previously, we knew of her business acumen and of her marketing and promotional abilities," said Bob Hope, president of Hope-Beckham, Inc. "So, when the appropriate opening presented itself here, we jumped at the opportunity to hire her. She provides us with expertise in a number of important areas, and her experiences give Hope-Beckham an even wider range of marketing and public relations capabilities."
As a spokesperson and creative consultant, her project clients have included Seattle's Best Coffee, a subsidiary of AFC Enterprises, Millstone Coffee, Melitta Coffee, Maxwell House Coffee and the International Trade Centre, an agency of the United Nations. She is an international speaker who has given presentations on different topics related to coffee and tea during industry symposia in Vienna, Barcelona and San Francisco. She writes for Tea & Coffee Trade Journal, and www.culinary.net. She is a charter member of the Specialty Coffee Institute and active member of the Specialty Coffee Association of America, where she serves on the Communications Committee.
