Brown's family in Graceland plan.
THE children of James Brown are planning to turn his home into a Gracel and like museum.
They also want to build a mausoleum on the site for the late soul legend's body.
Plans for the memorial site in Beech Island, South Carolina, are being discussed by Brown's family, close friends and trustees.
Brown family attorney Debri Opri said the group wants to consult Elvis Presley's family to see how they set up Graceland. He said: "Mr Brown was a great fan and truly, truly cared about Elvis Presley."
There are around 600,000 visitors each year to Graceland to pay homage to Elvis.
Brown, revered as the Godfather of Soul, died of heart failure on Christmas Day aged 73.
His body lies in a sealed casket on Beech Island until his children choose his final resting place.
