Brooklyn wants to be Becks.
DAVID Beckham hopes son Brooklyn will follow in his footsteps and play for Manchester United.
Becks, 27, said his three-year-old loves football and always asks him to go out for a kick around.
He added: "Brooklyn is showing a bit of talent already. I'd love him to grow up and play football for Manchester United.
"He turned to me the other day and said 'I'm going to be David Beckham today'. I don't think he realises the difference between David Beckham and daddy just yet."
The England skipper also told MUTV it was tough leaving home at 16.
He said: "I was a bit of a mummy's boy and a London lad, so coming up to Manchester everything looked like Coronation Street to me. It was tough at first but I had good people looking after me."
