Broadstreet feeling six..

HUDDERSFIELD 42 BROADSTREET 0 BROADSTREET slumped to their tenth loss in a row as they conceded six tries at Lockwood Park.

Man of the match Chris Johnson was the first to cross the line after 24 minutes after breaking three tackles, he was able to convert his own try.

Mark Whitehead went over after 32 minutes Johnson again added the extras.

Huddersfield now on a roll were able to score again three minutes before half time when winger Donovan Vanvureen scored wide out after 37 minutes, with an excellent conversion. On the stroke of half-time, prop Tony Stringwell crashed over close to the posts. Johnson converted the easiest of chances for 28-0. The second half started better for Broadstreet, and it took 28 minutes of the second half before the next score was to come about.

Hooker James Davies went over the line to score his first try of the season, again Johnson was on hand to add the extra two points.

A bad afternoon was rounded off when Nick Sharpe crossed and, to round off a good day, Johnson added the two points. HUDDERSFIELD: tries: Johnson, Whitehead, Vanvureen, Stringwell, Davies, Sharpe; conversions: Johnson (6).
