Broadband speed is a deal breaker; NEWS WIRE.
HOUSE hunters would choose a former drug den or brothel over a home without highspeed broadband, a new study has suggested.
MONEYSAVINGEXPERT.com tested people's attitudes towards house buying to see what they're willing to put up with when searching for a new home.
Surprisingly, the survey revealed that, while 39% of people would be deterred by a house without broadband, only 37% would be put off by a former drug den, and 27% would be put off by a former brothel - even if it had a hefty discount attached for anyone moving in.
Moving into a serial killer's former address was only slightly more worrying than having no broadband - with 41% saying it would put them off.
