Brittle Pliskova set to be turned over.

TENNIS KAROLINA PLISKOVA has not been at her consistent best in New York this year and the top seed could be vulnerable against the power hitting of her US Open last-eight rival Coco Vandeweghe today, writes Adrian Humphries.

World number one Pliskova, who is still without a Grand Slam singles title in the adult ranks, found it tough going to assume dominance against slender American Nicole Gibbs in round two and the Czech could struggle to boss Gibbs' muscle-bound compatriot Vandeweghe.

Sporting Index quote Pliskova's Game Squared - first-set games won multiplied by second-set games won - at 25-28 and given that the favourite may not win in straight sets, selling could be wise.
