Brits head for sun on the cheap.

MORE people are planning to holiday abroad this summer - but will take less spending money with them than in previous years, according to a new study.

One in eight Britons say they are more likely jet off to hotter weather, but the average amount of cash they will take with them has fallen by five per cent to pounds 295 per week.

Holidaymakers from London were found to be the biggest spenders abroad, spending pounds 331 in a week. While those from East Anglia are the stingiest, spending just pounds 236.

The survey was carried out by travelsupermarket. com Spokesman Bob Atkinson said: "All-inclusive holidays are a popular option because you don't need to take as much money away with you."
