Amman, May 28 (Petra) - A British academic delegation on Monday visited the Association of Arab Universities (AARU) and took a first-hand look on its programs and objectives.

Secretary General of AARU Sultan Abu Orabi briefed the delegation on the Association's programs that aim at raising the level of higher education in the Arab World.

Abu Orabi stressed the need for the AARU to follow up on quality assurance and accreditation programs in higher education institutions through the association's Board of Quality Assurance and Accreditation.

Head of the delegation, Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Robert Parker, expressed the RSC's willingness to boost cultural and scientific cooperation between the two sides.
