British Ambassador Moran: London sees Kyrgyzstan as friendly country.

The UK is ready to provide all necessary support to Kyrgyzstan in implementation of constitutional reforms and democratic transformations, said British Ambassador David Moran at the meeting with Interim Government Vice Chair Almazbek Atambaev today.Atambaev said the British Government for assistance provided to Kyrgyzstan through implementation of DFID projects with the budget of around 7 million British pounds annually."We highly value social importance of DFID projects in health care, rural water supply, sanitation, fight against HIV/AIDS, rural investments. It is important to continue and expand DFID activities in Kyrgyzstan," Atambaev said.British Ambassador David Moran in return said the British Government is ready to provide necessary support to Kyrgyzstan. "Official London sees Kyrgyzstan as a friendly country," he said and added that he would travel to UK soon to inform the new Cabinet about the situation in Kyrgyzstan.Atambaev said Kyrgyzstan is interested in development of the bilateral relations with UK in political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres of a mutual concern.
