British Airways and Gate Gourmet sign agreement.

Gate Gourmet, a US-owned caterer, has signed a new agreement with British Airways.

The revised commercial agreement comes after the resolution of a staff dispute at the caterer. British Airways had offered to increase the value of its annual contract by GBP10m to about GBP140m, on condition that the caterer's staff dispute was resolved, sources have said.

There were also expectations of an extension of the contract from 2008 to 2010, Reuters reported.
