Bringing Churches Together: An Introduction to Ecumenism.

Bringing Churches Together: An Introduction to Ecumenism (E.J. Dwyer, distributed by Morehouse, 180 pages, $9.95 paperback) is by Gideon Goosen, an associate professor at the Australian Catholic University in Sydney.

The book is for general readers or students of theology. It considers the theology of ecumenism, current dialogue and issues, the history of the World Council of Churches and the two main rifts in Christianity, the schism between East and West, and the reformation. This book is a handy resource. Perhaps ecumenism isn't quite as dead as some have suggested.
