Brighouse club shine in Blackpool.

THE Brighouse Traditional Karate Club enjoyed success at the UKTKF National Championships in Blackpool.

John Lowe was first in the Senior Male Individual Kumite - the fourth time since 2006 - an second in the Senior Male individual Kata.

The club's A team, made up of Lowe, Nick Shaw and Ben Ayrton, were first in the team Kumite category Vicky Charlesworth was second in the Senior Female Kumite, Demitri Mulkern second in Cadet (15-17) Individual Kumite and Devon Johnson second in the Junior Female Kata. Jake Spencer was third in the Junior Male Kata.
