Brief support for cyber criminal.

SUPPORTERS of cyber criminal Simon Vallor are calling for him to be freed - on their underpants.

The Free Gobo campaign was set up after the 22-year-old computer whizz kid from Llandudno was jailed in January for creating the world's third most destructive computer virus which crippled 27,000 computers in 42 countries.

And now the campaign, which is named after his computer bug, has launched a range of merchandise declaring Free Gobo - including boxer shorts, hooded tops, t-shirts, caps, mugs and mouse mats.

Money raised from the goods goes to Vallor's legal fight.

The site says: 'One of the most useful ways you can help Simon is by donating money. All money received from donations or sales goes directly to Simon.'

Vallor is due to launch an appeal to be released early.
