190 SELLING AGENTS COMMITTED IN AMERICAN EDUCATION MARKET

The Bridges Initiatives has licensed over 190 selling agents to distribute Career Explorer to the American market in 1997. Primary among the companies are Computer Plus (45 account managers and catalog sales representatives), Dataflex (36 sales staff), ETI (23 sales staff) and Learning Services (17 sales representatives). Another eight companies have secured licenses to market, sell and distribute the Career Explorer Online service to the education and college markets in the United States.

CAREER EXPLORER '97 LAUNCHED TO CURRENT SUBSCRIBERS

Product development of Career Explorer has entered its final stage and the new version of Bridges' online career development resource was unveiled to existing subscribers on November 18. The new service, Career Explorer '97, features a new stream-lined interface, an improved search engine and an exciting new front end 'News Page Feature'. Career Explorer '97 promises to provide the same high quality career information, up-to-date labour market resources and a five-a-day publish that past versions have always featured. BRIDGE PRESENTS TO STATE AND PROVINCIAL BODIES

Bridges continues to present to government officials considering region-wide purchases of Career Explorer for schools, colleges and employment centers. Bridges' is capable of providing region- specific service through "mirror sites" of the Career Explorer online service. Each dedicated service would feature statistics and articles tailored to the area purchasing Career Explorer.

ONLINE DEVELOPMENTS

USAGE OF CAREER EXPLORER CONTINUES TO GROW

Usage of Career Explorer continues to increase through the first months of the 1996-97 school year. Hits totaled 59,000 in September, 116,000 in October and over 100,000 to date in November. 1995 totals for the same months were 6,000, 24,000 and 46,000 respectively. Approximately 15 per cent of this year's "hits" are from potential purchasers of Career Explorer. It is expected that a larger portion of total usage will result from prospective clients considering the service for a Q2/Q3 purchase in the new year. As usage rates continue to grow into 1997, it's expected the service will experience its first 1,000,000-hit year, establishing Career Explorer as a premier Internet-delivered classroom resource.

UPCOMING IMPORTANT DATES

December 6-7, 1996 -- Bridges will be presenting at the Tel Ed Multimedia Conference at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida. Over 3,000 teachers, and media and technology specialists will be present to evaluate exhibits.
