Bridgend's Hall in slide down Dubai leaderboard.

BRIDGEND'S Lydia Hall slid 10 places down the Omega Dubai Ladies' Masters leaderboard in her quest to round off a career-best year on the Ladies' European Tour with another decent pay-day.

The British Masters champion carded three birdies in her third round in the United Arab Emirates but a double-bogey six at the 17th and a dropped shot at the 12th, meant she ended the day where she started on five under par. Her 72 put her down in 20th spot alongside double Solheim Cup cap Becky Brewerton, who carded a 68.

Newport's Sahra Hassan, who was third after round one, fired a 69 yesterday to be on four under and tied 27th while Becky Morgan is on two under.

China's world No.6 Shanshan Feng will take a five-stroke lead into the final day.

Feng showed her class with three closing birdies for a 67 after Dutch player Dewi Claire Schreefel broke the Emirates women's course record with a dazzling nine-under-par 63, three shots better than her previous lowest round on the Ladies European Tour.

That lifted the 27-year-old from 13th to second on 13 under.

But Feng remains firmly on course for another win six months after her victory at the LPGA Championship made her the first Chinese golfer, male or female, to lift a Major title.

France's Gwladys Nocera is in third place after a third successive 68, while German Caroline Masson still has a chance of pipping Spaniard Carlota Ciganda to the money list title.
