Brian Laudrup's Danish diary.
MONDAY: Rise and shine? You must be joking. Everybody bleary-eyed after a 5.15am alarm call. Luckily we only had to walk the length of a pitch from hotel to Glasgow Airport for 6.45am flight direct to Copenhagen. Some lads still look as if they hadn't woken as they get on the plane.
Arrived at the Marina Hotel on the coast of Vebbaek - straight into tough training session. Great to get dinner and into bed knackered at around 10.30.
TUESDAY: Up for 10am training, lunch and back to bed for a couple of hours before leaving for National Stadium to play FC Copenhagen. Like a home game for me. Enjoyed it even though we lost 1-0.
Main thing was getting 90 minutes under our belts against strong opposition.
Great to see old friends later. Back to the hotel at 10pm for dinner and straight to bed.
WEDNESDAY: Something fishy - we've got the morning off! Lot of players went angling. Andy Goram and Ian Ferguson caught biggest fish and the hotel chef cooked them for us at a barbecue. In between had another tough training session at five o'clock. A very enjoyable day.
THURSDAY: Early rise for a 30-minute flight to Aalborg. Our arrival was shown live on TV. Some of the boys played keepy-uppy on the tarmac to entertain the viewers.
Danish TV like visits by big European clubs - especially when there are Danes in their team like myself and Erik Bo Andersen who used to play for Aalborg.
We won 3-2. Game watched on TV by around 800,000 and I was very pleased for Erik to score in front of the fans who still care for him a lot.
Flew back to Copenhagen, had dinner and again right up to our beds.
FRIDAY: Most of the day off but a busy one for me. Took Ally McCoist to my favourite hairdresser. Ally must be trying to get his hair cut in every country he visits. There for an hour - but Ally behaved himself!
Next stop a publicity commercial for Danish TV Channel 3 who are showing all of Denmark's away games.
Training at five, dinner, then games of pool. Could hardly get on the table for Gazza, Goram and Charlie Miller.
SATURDAY: Time off before the game with Amager. Had a visit from my wife Mette and children Nicolai and Rasmina who have been staying at our Danish home, with Andy Goram's wife and son as guests.
On the bench for our 9-1 win over Amager and we all celebrated with a sing-song before trooping off to bed exhausted.
