Brewin Dolphin, the UK's largest private client investment manager, has announced its plans to rebrand Bell Lawrie, its Scottish division.
From March 2009, Bell Lawrie will operate as Brewin Dolphin. The seven Scottish offices of Bell Lawrie, which joined the Brewin Dolphin Group in 1993, will continue to offer clients advice about pensions, mitigating the effects of inheritance tax, and other financial matters.
Jamie Matheson, chairman of Brewin Dolphin, said that the brand name had been adopted by the firm's offices in other parts of the United Kingdom, and said that adding Bell Lawrie would bolster the brand name further.
Henry Algeo will continue to operate as regional MD of the seven Scottish offices.
